Turn passion into music!

The Straight Up Music Youth Music Program gives kids and teens the chance to create, record, and perform in a fun and supportive environment.

  • For Teens: Write and record your own original songs while learning the ins and outs of songwriting, music production, and studio recording.

  • For Kids: Join the fun by recording kid-friendly covers while building confidence and learning the basics of performing and recording.

The program ends with a professionally produced Youth EP, featuring both original teen tracks and fun kid-friendly songs by our younger musicians. Every participant walks away with real studio experience, new skills, and music they can be proud of.

    Music Lab is where students step into the studio and record their vocals on scheduled weekends. With guidance from our instructors, kids and teens will learn studio basics, gain recording experience, and contribute their voices to the final Youth EP.

In early 2023, we started INSPIRE 101, our after school programs catered towards the development of our youth in the creative field. One of the programs was Songwriting 101 and our goal was to help educate kids on song writing skills/techniques and along the way, “Find their voice”. We gave our local youth the chance to learn from professional creatives such as STRAIGHTUPJED, Jonah Hånom, Frankie McJohn of The John Dank Show, Xahier, Crux and many more. Now, they’re ready to share with you what they’ve wrote and produced!

The program includes 2-3 classes per week.
Monthly tuition: $150 per month
3 Month Bundle: $400 (to be paid up front)
Tuition is due on the first day of each month.

A $30 fee will be assessed for each returned/bounced check.

  • If there are availabilities in the class, then we will happily accept you as a walk-in for a charge of $15.

  • We will be covering all the popular genres in this course.

  • The course will be mainly focused on how to write a song from conception to production. By the end of the program, you will be able to write a song with your peers and we will produce it for you.

  • Although witnessing your child’s progress in class would be exciting; we highly recommend students to stay focused in class with their fellow music mates and teacher. Instructors will conduct a class showcase throughout the program to keep things exciting and surprising for the big concert.

  • Tuition fees are non-refundable. Tuition Fees need to be paid every 20th per month.

    Late monthly tuition payments (5 Business Days after the 20th) are subject to a "Late Fee" charge of $20. However, if the participant is undergoing medical treatment and/or medically unable to attend the scheduled days, we kindly ask for a doctor’s note stating the participant’s time frame of absence. If your child is absent, we will do our best to get them up to speed with the rest of the class.
